HYDROMETALLURGY SYSTEM

Extracting High-Purity Battery-Grade Materials

The hydrometallurgy system is the core value recovery section of lithium-ion battery recycling. Through acid leaching, impurity removal, solvent extraction, and precipitation crystallization, valuable metals such as lithium, nickel, cobalt, and manganese are extracted from black mass and converted into battery-grade precursor materials.

Our process features high recovery rates, low reagent consumption, and flexible product forms, capable of producing lithium carbonate, lithium hydroxide, nickel-cobalt-manganese hydroxide precursors, and other products based on customer requirements and market demand.

PROCESS FLOW

Hydrometallurgy Process

01
Acid Leaching

Dissolving valuable metals from black mass using sulfuric acid with reducing agents under controlled temperature and time.

02
Impurity Removal

Removing iron, aluminum, copper, and other impurities through pH adjustment and precipitation to purify the leachate.

03
Extraction & Separation

Separating nickel, cobalt, manganese, and lithium through multi-stage solvent extraction for individual recovery.

04
Product Preparation

Precipitation, crystallization, and drying to produce battery-grade lithium carbonate, NCM precursors, etc.
